Make Your Hallmark

It’s been a month since I left the big city to help my parents, just trying to make ends meet in the town where I grew up. Now I’m drinking ‘nog from a moose-ear cup. You don’t understand, you think I’ve changed. But to me, it’s more like rearranged. Funny how I bumped into my ex, small town life simply is the best. Whether you do it for the money, or better yet, for charity. Make your Hallmark on the world today. ‘Tis the season for tempting fate. I don’t care that you forced my hand, cause just like Elvis in Graceland I’ve got a hunka, hunka burning Christmas love, and for that I thank the lord above. It’s been two weeks since you called. It’s not like you’re on vacay with Clark Griswold. 30 minutes in and I’m a love-struck fool. My ex and I don’t hate each other like we did in high school. Now the town needs us 'cause some big wig wants to tear the inn down ‘cause that’s his gig. Clearly, it’s time to have a bake sale and doing it together will seal the deal.Whether you do it for the money, or better yet, for charity. Make your Hallmark on the world today. ‘Tis the season for tempting fate. I don’t care that you forced my hand, cause just like Elvis in Graceland I’ve got a hunka, hunka burning Christmas love, and for that I thank the lord above. (...and now it’s time for a mid-movie montage…) I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus underneath the mistletoe last night. She didn't see me creep down the stairs to have a peep. She thought that I was tucked up in my bedroom, fast asleep. Jingle bell rock. Now here’s the part with a big misunderstanding like every episode of Three’s Company with Mr. Roper, Chrissy, Janet and Jack. Don’t you worry, just like magic we’ll be back on track. It’s time to pour more whiskey in the ‘nog, stuff some kindling beneath the yule log. If this Christmas story makes you laugh and cry, dfon’t you worry, they’ll play it more next July.

Make Us Grateful Again

I can’t believe my ears again, is that really something he just said? Freedom is something we should defend, but not at the unfortunates’ expense. From the colonies to California. America, a quilt of blue and red. Win or lose it’s how you play the game, I'm wondering what it’s gonna take to make us grateful again. I can’t believe my eyes again, did that really just pop up on my feed? I can appreciate confidence, but only when backed with integrity. From the colonies to California. America, a quilt of blue and red. Win or lose it’s how you play the game, I'm wondering what it’s gonna take to make us grateful again. We all live by our own constitution. Our own philosophies and beliefs. Some seek harmony, some revolution. A bit of both is quite alright to me. From the colonies to California. America, a quilt of blue and red. Win or lose it’s how you play the game, I'm wondering what it’s gonna take to make us grateful again.
