Texas-style rock flavored with a folky, bluesy twang and sprinkled with sweltering solos on guitar, sax and keys. Belldiver’s music is atmospheric, authentic and diverse. It spans from guitar-laden rock to thoughtful indie-folk with many colors in between.
At its core, Belldiver’s identity is in the clever and insightful lyrics penned by frontman Jason Shepherd. Jason crafts compelling stories of every mood and character, full of word play and delivered with a wink and a nod. The stories are brought to life by collaboration of the six-member band who build melodic textures with guitars, keys, saxophone, melodica, and bass. Whatever it takes to tell the tale.
